General Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all wines, spirits or other goods or services supplied by WineWorld Limited. Please read these terms of sale carefully before placing your order.
Sales
It is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18. By placing an order, the Customer confirms that he/she is 18 years old or over.
All sales are subject to our final confirmation. Prices are subject to change without notice. All wines are offered subject to remaining unsold. All goods sold are strictly non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the 'Company' or 'WineWorld' will mean WineWorld Limited and the 'Customer' will mean any person, firm, company, corporation or body which places an order with the Company.
Member Prices
To enjoy the member prices, you are required to register as WineWorld members before placing any order. Currently, membership is free, and enables you to enjoy discounts on selected wines as well as receive invitations to our wine events. To register, simply click the "Membership" tab to fill out the membership form online.
Order Processing Time
Please note that the orders are processed within 48 hours if placed between Monday and Friday. To expedite this service or to guarantee a delivery time, please contact a representative at 3154-9570.
Payment Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice or at delivery. Method of payment may be in the form of cash, company check or bank transfer.

For credit card payment, please contact our office at 3154-9570. A 3% bank surcharge will incur due to the competitive wine prices in WineWorld.
Given the limited stock and pricing fluctuation of fine wines, WineWorld has the right to cancel an invoice that has been unsettled for over one week.
In the event of non-payment by Customer upon delivery, WineWorld reserves the right to charge an interest of 3% per month on the overdue amount until payment. If the Company shall have to consult solicitors or other agents to recover overdue sums, the Customer will indemnify the Company in relation to reasonable fees payable to such solicitors and/or agents.
Title
Title to all goods supplied shall remain with WineWorld until all sums due are paid in full. WineWorld has the right to retrieve any sold goods if full payment is not received.
Delivery/Collection WineWorld offers free delivery service to any address on the Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories for purchases over HK$2,000. Delivery to outlying islands is not available. For order under $2,000, wines can be picked up at our office (13/F, Yue On Commercial Building, 385-387 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, HK) or delivered at a fee (please use the below rates for reference).
Hong Kong Island: HK$120
Kowloon: HK$150
New Territories: HK$220
Outlying Islands: Delivery Not Available
In the event of Typhoon Signal 8/ Black Rain, delivery service will be suspended. WineWorld will contact customers to reschedule delivery.
WineWorld reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee if the recipient is not available to accept delivery at the nominated delivery time to cover the cost of the additional delivery.
Acceptance of Products
WineWorld is committed to ensuring that our wines reach you in the best possible condition. All Customers are requested to examine the goods immediately upon collection or delivery for any deficiencies and/or damages. Claims (if any) must be lodged at the time of delivery, otherwise any breakages or shortfall shall be deemed to have occurred thereafter. We do not accept return wines for any reason, including corked wines.
No returns accepted on glassware or accessories after the goods have been accepted by the receiver.
Storage Charge
WineWorld reserves the right to levy a storage charge of HK$30 per bottle per month on wines which have been made available but not collected or delivered within 30 days of purchase. Moreover, we are introducing a comprehensive wine storage service to our members, details as follow:
Key Information:
1. Storage will be charged by one case (12 bottles) or half case (6 bottles).
2. Storage fees are based on monthly charge. Minimum charge is one-month storage fee.
3. Our Wanchai office (13/F, Yue On Commercial Building, 385-387 Lockhart Road) is the drop off/ delivery point.
** Additional delivery to/ from requested destinations will incur delivery charge.
Pricing:
1. Monthly Storage Fee
Per case of 12 bottles (750ml): HK$35
Per case of 6 bottles (750ml): HK$30
Per case of 6 magnums (1500ml): HK$35
2. Warehouse Handling Fee (per lot deposited / retrieved):
1-10 cases: HK$170
11-30 cases: HK$270
30+ cases: Ask for quotation
3. Local Delivery Fee (not applicable for drop-off / pickup at our office)
Hong Kong - 1-6 Cases HK$100; 6+ Cases HK$200
Kowloon - 1-6 Cases HK$150; 6+ Cases HK$280
New Territories - 1-6 Cases HK$280; 6+ Cases HK$350

Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to meet our obligations occasioned by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
