Wine Advocate 94: "The 2009 Griotte-Chambertin is beautiful, elegant and totally weightless. This shows gorgeous subtlety and inner juiciness through to the nuanced finish. Griottes, spices and flowers linger on the close. My sense is this is holding a lot back in reserve at the moment. The Griotte-Chambertin is made from estate fruit. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029."
Burghound 93: "A discreet touch of reduction still allows the earthy red berry and black cherry aromas to express themselves. The rich, pure and mouth coating flavors possess excellent volume and ample minerality on the gorgeously complex and beautifully balanced finish that delivers superb length. This is not as complex as the Charmes but it's notably finer and should also age extremely well."
