BH 89: "A high-toned, perfumed and spicy nose that is now displaying moderate secondary development is followed by big, powerful, intense and very concentrated flavors underpinned by a still reatively firm tannic spine but very fine length. This is complex, big-bodied and dramatic but the structure such that this requires food to enjoy and it will probably always have an edge. While this could certainly continue to be held, I don't see it necessarily improving from here and I would be drinking it over the next 20 years or so."
