A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, 1/3 each. The grapes come from vineyards near the Cairanne and Gigondas areas in the southern Rhône Valley. The grapes are harvested manually, then de-stemmed, lightly crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. 10% of the wine is aged in oak for nine to twelve months before bottling. This wine is complex with silky tannins and intense aromas of red fruit, liquorice and spice.
