These three privileged moments are called “Plénitudes”-moments where the wine sings higher and stronger.
Dom Pérignon P2 reveals the wine’s energy at its peak, resulting from over 16 years of elaboration, bringing the wine to its Second Plénitude. This second Plenitude is a magnification of a vintage’s articulation. It is ever sharper and clearer unto itself and never more intensely penetrating or precise. P2 is definitely the Plenitude of energy.
The Dom Perignon rose oenotheque 1993- a wine magnifying the unparalleled aging potential and complexity of dom perignon rose. About this 1993 vintage was precocious. Early budding and a warm, stormy spring led to rapid, full flowering in the first half of june. Despite average temperatures, the summer was remarkable for the sunny, dry weather that lasted right up to the beginning of the harvest.
Appearance: Coppery pink with light orange hightlights.
Aroma: The first notes of red fruit are soon replaced by those of dried figs and spices. The overall harmony is complemented by peaty and smoky notes.
Palate: The wine is insolently brilliant and precise, with an almost youthful freshness and notes of dates and pink grapefruit. It has a tactile, powdery, silky presence, with a remarkably tense, sharp finish.
