Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne Cage Edition whose elegant design is based on a traditional bird cage, also acts as a carrying case for the champagne bottle and comes with a matching stopper to preserve the champagne once opened.
Appearance: A fine bead and an elegant colour. Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier’s colour evolves gently from a pretty raspberry tint to a hint of salmon. In this colour range, the brightest is a pink with subtle shades of melon and raspberry. The bead is so fine that it seems to dance in the glass and then on the palate.
Aroma: Subtle, forthright, and very fresh on the nose. Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier suggests a basketful of small berry fruits: strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, redcurrants, and morello and black cherries. The overwhelming sensation is one of freshness.
Palate: Fruit dominates the palate. Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is a lively, well-rounded wine which combines structure and freshness. The forthright, slightly sharp attack is like breathing the heady aromas of a freshly-picked basket of berry fruits – a symphony of aromas with a gently-rounded, tender finish.
Wine Advocate 86: "The NV Brut Cuvee Rose is a fairly anonymous Champagne with a soft, pleasing personality. The wine is best enjoyed sooner rather than later. This is lot # L23PX103248. Disgorged April 2011. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015."
Wine Spectation 90: "Balanced and fresh, with an airy mousse carrying flavors of crunchy pear, piecrust, apricot and ground ginger, all underscored by a hint of smoky mineral. Drink now through 2017. 20,000 cases imported."
