Confirm Order

After selecting the wines you wish to order from the wine list and upon satisfied with wine(s) that your wish to order, you should proceed to the "check out" section of the website.

Payment / Currency

• You should indicate your preferred means of payment, the currency of payment and mode of delivery at the same time when you place your purchase order.
• Payment must only be made in the currency as indicated in the wine list or in Hong Kong dollars.
• Payment must be made within 5 days from when an order is placed.
• In the event that there is a need to convert any currency for payment, you shall be provided with an estimate of the total amount payable for your order with reference to the spot exchange rate quoted by a recognized international bank. On receipt of the estimate of the sums payable, full and cleared funds for payment must be received on the day. If payment is not received on the same day, a fresh estimate based on a revised exchange rate will be provided.
• For orders involving multiple currencies, separate payment amount with reference to different currencies will be stated in the invoice.
• You shall and are liable to pay for all discrepancy of sums, if any, that is actually paid to the seller due to currency fluctuation between the time of payment and provision to you of the estimated sums payable.
• For all orders placed and received after 4 pm, your order shall be deemed to have been placed on the next following banking day.
• Once payment has been made, please provide your payment confirmation (eg. ATM transferred receipt, online bank transfer confirmation) in the prescribed manner by email to billings@wineworld.com.hk stating Wineworld's invoice number in the email subject
• Delivery will be arranged after receipt of valid payment confirmation and you will be notified of the actual date of delivery.

Modes of Payment

Payment can be made by either ATM transfer, online bank transfer, cash deposit, cheque deposit or credit card.

Please mark or quote Wineworld and Wineworld invoice number as a note to your payment. For example, "Wineworld INV 13100200003"

All credit payments will be subject to payment of an additional surcharge as indicated in the invoice, and have to be made in person by attend out office at 13/F, Yue On Commercial Building, 385 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, HK

As a reference and subject to that stated in the invoice, the credit card surcharges applicable are:

• VISA, Mastercard and Unionpay – 3.2%
• American Express – 3.5% - 4% depending on the type (please enquire for the exact surcharge)
