2016 Château Mont Pérat Blanc
TASTING NOTES:
View: Golden yellow, limpid green highlights.
Nose: floral and fruity, with characteristics of Sauvignon and Semillon bouquet.
Mouth: fresh, fruity wines with liveliness and principal character of its aromatic range, large floral aroma and freshness of white-fleshed fruit.
APPELLATION: Entre-deux-Mers.
VINES: the large area of Entre deux Mers has a very different nature soil. It composed mainly of molasses earth, limestone chalky, limestone and clay alluvial terraces.
GRAPES: Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle.
AGING: Aged on lees in French oak barrels for 10 months.
PREPARATION: handpicking, pressing at low temperature. Decanting in stainless steel tanks. 50% of the wine ferments in barrels used first, second and third year.
WINE PAIRING: hojaldres, gougères, toast with smoked salmon, seafood, oysters, seafood tartare besugoi, crottin de Chavignol cheese.
